Community involvement
The Leeton Public School Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a volunteer group made up of parents, carers, teachers, staff and community members, who all share a common interest of supporting and contributing to the continual improvement of our beautiful school. The P&C works in partnership with the school Principal and the whole school community to:
- Support the interests of the school and the school community
- Contribute funding to improve facilities, resources and provide opportunities for the students of LPS, and
- Contribute to decisions that will achieve the best possible outcomes for our students and the whole school community.
Membership of our LPS P&C associations is open to all members of the school community: parents, teachers and citizens and everyone is very welcome at the LPS P&C.
In recent years, the LPS P&C has worked exceptionally hard, fundraising to be able to contribute large amounts of funding to support the school. A few of the major areas we have been able to assist is with the upgrading of classroom resources, new singlets for sports representation, sporting equipment, playground equipment and more.
